How to transfer your entire diary file to another computer

a) Start the StarMessage diary on Computer A
b) Click TOOLS->BACKUP and create a backup on a usb disk or other removable device.
c) Copy or send the diary file to the Computer B.

How do I get a CDRom with the diary program to give it as a gift?

The StarMessage diary is distributed electronically (downloads). However you can easily create a CDRom your self and give it as a gift.

After restoring an old diary version, pages with arial font are ok, but some diary pages appear with unreadable fonts.

In order to restore the font of the diary page to the default font (arial) do the following:

a) Make a NEW backup of your diary (just in case)

The diary backup file is a "special" encrypted file. You cannot just double-click it and open it with a text processor.

No, you can ommit the "Extended Download Service" to reduce the final price.
The "Extended Download Service" is a download URL that is maintained for your convenience for future downloads.
